As of the New Year our practice was forced to change our billing procedures
because of our group dissolving. Because that part of our practice had
been delegated to another office we did not have the staff to immediately
take over billing. Multi-Medical Specialties Billing was recommended to
us for our billing needs.
I
cannot express the confidence I have in Terri Newton and her staff at
Multi-Medical. They have led us step by step in the process of assuming
the billing for our practice, and helping us to transition as sole
practitioner.
One
aspect of that transition has been using a new software program for our
billing, as well as appointment scheduling. We had previously used
another popular billing and scheduling system, but because another part of the
group maintained the server it was going to cost thousands to have access
to our information and continue as we had. Terri Newton researched our
software needs and recommended that we try the system they offer. The
cost was negligible, and it came with high reviews. With trepidation we
decided to use Multi-Medical’s recommended software. We are now using
the appointment scheduler and billing program and are extremely happy.
It is easy to view, easy to use, and only took a few hours to learn the system
and be up and running. In fact, it is so easy that we transferred two years
worth of appointments in the first week of use.
Another
aspect of the software offered by Multi-Medical that is appealing is that it
is web based and we can view our reports from home. This is advantageous
because many times there isn't time at the end of the day to keep track of the
business part of the practice. The financial reports are easy to read and
follow, with several tools to help get a real picture of the status of
accounts.
We
are now moving forward to implement EMR requirements with
another part of the system. It is amazingly affordable and meets
requirements for the HITECH Act's reimbursement program. We are
confident that the program will meet our needs and we will have support along
the way as we navigate through the necessary changes.

retirement in 2006. I found them to be an extremely reputable and
efficient billing service. The owner Terri Newton has maintained a competent
and reliable staff working for her and I have no complaints with the service
they provided. My claims were filed correctly from the start and what claims
went unpaid were consistently followed up on usually with good results. Being
in Family Practice I generated a variety of claims to numerous kinds of
insurance both commercial and managed care. Having used a different billing
service for several years prior to partnering with Multi-Medical, I feel I
